St. George police Tuesday were asking for the public’s help in identifying a motorist who stabbed another during a possible road-rage incident.
Police said they responded Monday about 5:45 p.m. to a report of a stabbing at 1911 W. Sunset Blvd. Officers said the victim was traveling in one vehicle and his attacker was traveling the opposite direction in another when there was some sort of "exchange."

When the victim entered a parking lot, he was confronted by the occupant of the other vehicle. A verbal exchange took place and the victim was slashed on the arm. The cut did not require medical attention, and the suspect fled before police arrived.
Officers said the incident was possibly a case of road rage involving strangers, but want to speak with the other person involved before determining a motive.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 435-627-4300.
