Rawson was taken to Intermountain Medical Center, where he died at about 8:20 p.m., according to UHP. The driver of the F-250, a man in his mid-50s, was not hurt.
UHP was still investigating why Rawson lost control of the car. But the freeway was covered with snow, which investigators believe could have been a factor, they said.
