A Bountiful mandied from injuries suffered in aFriday morning crash on snowy Interstate 15 in Salt Lake County.

Kenneth Rawson, 26,was driving south on I-15 when he lost control of his Mazda Miata about 9 a.m., according to the Utah Highway Patrol. Near 3900 South, the Miata veered left into the next lane, where a Ford F-250 T-boned the driver’s side.

Rawson was taken to Intermountain Medical Center, where he died at about 8:20 p.m., according to UHP. The driver of the F-250, a man in his mid-50s, was not hurt.

UHP was still investigating why Rawson lost control of the car. But the freeway was covered with snow, which investigators believe could have been a factor, they said.
