A 70-year-old woman was killed Sunday after she lost control of her pickup truck in southern Utah.
Utah Highway Patrol troopers said the woman was southbound about 8:20 a.m. on State Road 191, which was icy and snowpacked, about 30 miles north of Blanding when she lost control of a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado on a curve.

The pickup slid off the right shoulder, rolled 1½ times and landed on its hood.
The woman, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered head and neck injuries and died at the scene, UHP said. Her name was being withheld until her family could be notified.
