Two Wasatch County search and rescue teams went out looking for a missing snowmobiler Thursday evening, and a half hour later, he turned up.
About 3 p.m., the 61-year-old man got separated from the two other snowmobilers he was with in the Soapstone area, near Kamas, said Wasatch County sheriff’s Lt. Jeff Winterton. The two searched for him for about three hours, but with no luck, they found a park ranger and asked for help.

Wasatch County sent out two rescue teams — with six people to a team — to search for the man around 6 p.m. And about half an hour later, one of his snowmobiling partners found him.
He was all right, but had got stuck, Winterton said.
Winterton declined to specify where the trio is from, but said that they are not locals.
The Soapstone trailhead, where the trio started their outing on Thursday, is actually in Summit County, Winterton said, though it soon traverses into Wasatch County.
