A man who robbed a Wells Fargo bank in Murray is this week is still on the loose, and police have released surveillance photos of the robber in hopes of catching him.

The bank, located at 4920 South State Street, was robbed at about 5 p.m. Tuesday by a suspect who gave a note to a teller that demanded money and indicated he had a gun, according to Murray police. The man never actually produced a gun during the robbery, police said.

Police believe the suspect is the same man who robbed a Wells Fargo in Magna on Jan. 14.

He is described as a white male, approximately 6 feet tall, with a medium build and a beard. In the Tuesday robbery, he was wearing a fleece camouflage jacket, a dark-colored beanie and aviator style sunglasses.

Anyone with information about the suspect is encouraged to contact the Murray Police Department at 801-840-4000.
