Two people were injured Sunday in Salt Lake City after a pickup plowed into their vehicle on North Temple.
Police said the two were in a blue passenger car at the traffic light at 400 West and North Temple about 10:45 a.m. when the westbound pickup slammed into the back of them.

The pickup continued into the intersection and clipped the front of a car waiting at the light to go east on North Temple.
The female passenger in the blue car was taken to a hospital in critical condition with severe head trauma, police said. Officers said she stopped breathing at the scene. The driver of the car was also taken to a hospital, but his injuries were not as serious, police.
The driver of the pickup was not injured. Police said he takes medication for epilepsy and told officers that he believes he might have had a seizure just before the crash. He said he couldn’t remember the moments leading up to it, police said.
The crash remained under investigation.
