As heavy snow fell across northern Utah, the search for a missing Tremonton area man entered its third day Wednesday in rural Box Elder County.
A public safety dispatcher confirmed that Box Elder County Search and Rescue personnel had not found 63-year-old John Kilburn as of Wednesday evening. Crews had begun their search Monday morning after he failed to return from a Sunday night trip to feed cattle near the Malad River.

Deputies were increasingly concerned about Kilburn’s safety given the harsh winter conditions and unspecified medical conditions.
His truck, the keys still inside, was found but there was no trace of the man.
Kilburn is 5-foot-10, 175 pounds, toothless, with blue eyes and gray hair. He was last seen wearing a dark Carhart jacket, blue jeans and boots.
Anyone with information about this case is asked to called the sheriff’s office at 435-734-3803.
