West Jordan police have arrested two men and a woman believed to have held up at least two area credit unions.
West Jordan police Sgt. Richard Bell said the arrests were made hours following the second robbery, which occurred about 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the University of Utah Credit Union, 7121 S. Redwood Road.

Two of the suspects — described as a white male of average height and weight and a heavy-set Latino male — brandished a handgun and demanded cash. The men, both wearing hooded sweatshirts and dark bandanas over their faces, fled the credit union with an unspecified amount of money.
West Jordan police soon spotted the suspects, detaining one on foot before the second man and a woman sped away in a gold Jeep. Moments later, a 911 call about suspicious activity led officers to a residence near 1400 West and 7200 South, where the second male and the woman were arrested.
Bell said officers also believe the trio were connected to a Jan. 9 robbery of the Mountain America Credit Union at 6761 S. Redwood Road, also in West Jordan.
Detectives are looking into whether the suspects may be linked to any other unsolved crimes.
A 28-year-old West Jordan man, a 31-year-old South Jordan man and a 26-year-old West Valley City woman were booked into Salt Lake County jail on suspicion of federal bank robbery charges.
