South Jordan police have issued an endangered missing person advisory for a 6-year-old girl.

Police Chief Lindsay Shepherd said Thursday that Kassidy Nelson was last seen about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday. She is believed to have been taken by her non-custodial, biological mother. The woman may have been accompanied by her boyfriend at the time the child was taken.

The girl was last seen wearing a multi colored striped fleece jacket, yellow bumble bee shirt, black pajama pants and was without shoes. She has shoulder-length brown hair and blue eyes.

The woman, Megan Boynton, 25, is 5-foot-3, 130 pounds with short brown hair and blue eyes.

Boynton, her boyfriend, Elliot Proctor, 36, and the child were believed to be traveling in a dark colored Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck.
