The Weber State University police are asking the public to help them find a missing student.

A dormitory roommate reported on Monday that Juan Pablo Brant, 27, was missing. Brant was last seen at about 3 to 3:30 p.m. on Jan. 4 at the Wells Fargo Bank at 4301 S. Harrison Blvd. in Ogden, near the WSU campus.

Brant has been known to leave for several days at a time, but not as long as this, according to a Friday news release.

"We know he used to walk the trails in the foothills east of campus. That's one of the places he's been known to go," said Allison Hess, WSU spokeswoman.

Police have not found any indication of foul play or signs of suspicious activity, but they would like to speak with Brant or anyone who may know where he is or how he's doing.

Brant was last seen wearing a white button-up dress shirt, black jacket and black jeans. He is 5-foot-10, 170 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.

Police are asking anyone with information to call WSU Campus Police Detective Seth Cawley at 801-626-6460.
