Two men who were reported missing after they failed to return from snowmobiling in the Uinta Mountains were found in good condition late Wednesday night.
Search and rescue crews from the Summit County Sheriff’s Office had been searching for the men since 7 p.m. Family members reported them overdue from an excursion in the Lambert Meadows area, about 20 miles east of Kamas.

Sgt. Ron Bridge of the Summit County Sheriff’s Office said the two men were last seen by family members at 2:30 p.m. and were supposed to return a half hour later. Snow prevented searchers from using a helicopter to get an aerial view.
Bridge said the men were found by search and rescue trying to walk out after their snowmobiles got caught in deep snow. Bridge said the two men are "experienced outdoorsmen" and were prepared for harsh conditions. They were reunited with family at about 10 p.m. on Wednesday.
