Since opening in 1945, Baskin Robins has created more than 1,000 ice cream flavors.

But a man who walked into a Salt Lake City store Thursday night with a handgun just wanted the money.

Salt Lake City police said Friday they are looking for the suspect, a white male clad in a fedora, plaid jacket and knitted gloves.

The gunman — also wearing a Halloween-style mask and a black-and-white wig — entered the store at 1465 E. 2100 South about 6 p.m., made his demands, was given an unspecified amount of cash and then fled west on foot through a nearby alley.

No one was injured.
