Salt Lake City police are looking for a man who held up a Sconecutter restaurant late Monday night.
The man walked into the eatery at 2040 S. State St. about 11 p.m. and handed a note to an employee demanding cash. He motioned with his hand inside his jacket, indicating he had a handgun.

Police described him as a white and wearing a black beanie-style cap and a black jacket.
After grabbing money from the cash register, he fled the restaurant on foot.
Anyone with information on this case is asked to call police at 801-799-3000.
