According to a warrant filed in 2nd District Court, Weyland allegedly abused the two girls between January 2004 and December 2005. Clearfield police indicate in the warrant that the man held a position of power over the girls because he was baby-sitting them when the alleged abuse occurred.
Weyland is due back in court for a pretrial conference on Jan. 3. No trial date has been set.
