The Utah Transit Authority is initiating service to two Ogden Valley ski resorts — Powder Mountain and Snowbasin — this month.

According to a news release from the Ogden/Weber Convention and Visitors Bureau, the seasonal service will originate from the Transit Center in downtown Ogden, 2350 S. Wall Ave. First service for skiers departs as early as 7:55 a.m. Service will leave the mountains as late as 4:30 p.m. for Snowbasin and 9:36 p.m. for Powder Mountain.

Riders can also board the buses at various other stops including several along Washington Boulevard and Rainbow Gardens at the mouth of Ogden Canyon.

The fare will be $4.25 each way.

The news release said a free-ride day is scheduled for Dec. 14.
