Unified Police seek public's help in finding credit union robber
Unified Police investigators are enlisting the public's help in locating the man who robbed an east Salt Lake County Mountain America Credit Union.
UPD Lt. Justin Hoyal said the suspect described as a white 18 to 28-year-old, 6-foot-1 to 6-foot-4 man of thin build, wearing a black hooded sweat jacket with a University of Utah logo, sunglasses, a white baseball cap and black pants entered the MACU branch at 4900 S. Highland Drive about 3:20 p.m. Thursday.
He did not show a weapon, but handed a note to a teller demanding cash. The teller complied and the man fled on foot.
Hoyal said police searched the area but could not locate the man.
On Friday, UPD released a series of security camera images in hopes someone might recognize the suspect and call detectives at 801-743-7000.
