Unified Police investigators are enlisting the public's help in locating the man who robbed an east Salt Lake County Mountain America Credit Union.

UPD Lt. Justin Hoyal said the suspect — described as a white 18 to 28-year-old, 6-foot-1 to 6-foot-4 man of thin build, wearing a black hooded sweat jacket with a University of Utah logo, sunglasses, a white baseball cap and black pants — entered the MACU branch at 4900 S. Highland Drive about 3:20 p.m. Thursday.

He did not show a weapon, but handed a note to a teller demanding cash. The teller complied and the man fled on foot.

Hoyal said police searched the area but could not locate the man.

On Friday, UPD released a series of security camera images in hopes someone might recognize the suspect and call detectives at 801-743-7000.
