Boone had two no-bail arrest warrants for parole violations at the time of her Nov. 19 arrest in St. George. According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Boone pointed a gun at a St. George police officer who was transporting her to jail and managed to steal the police car while still in handcuffs.
She then led multiple officers on a high speed chase to Hurricane, where she allegedly got out of the police car and tried to take over another car that was parked at a gas station. Police shot Boone, who still had the gun in her hands, according to Washington County authorities.
