The Utah Highway Patrol has identified the victim of a Tooele County rollover Wednesday night as a California man.

Christopher Fainsbury, 26, was driving west on Interstate 80 when he lost control of his truck, which was hauling a trailer. It rolled near mile post 53 at about 5:36 p.m. He was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the truck, said UHP Cpl. Todd Johnson.

Westbound traffic was temporarily shut down for two helicopters that flew to the scene for Fainsbury and a 2-year-old, who was also in the truck and secured in a car seat. The toddler was taken to a Salt Lake City hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, but emergency responders declared Fainsbury dead at the scene, Johnson said. It was not immediately known whether the toddler is Fainsbury's child.
