Want to tell the new mayor what he should do when he takes over Salt Lake County?

Mayor-elect Ben McAdams and his transition team would like to hear your ideas. They have launched an online site — benmcadams.com/feedback — to solicit input from county residents and employees.

"During my campaign," the 37-year-old Democrat said, "I pledged that the residents of Salt Lake County would have a strong voice in my administration. I encourage people to give honest feedback about what they believe is working, what needs work, what should change and what should stay the same in the county."

He pledged that every submission will be read.

"It will be a valuable resource for my administration as we lay out plans and priorities," McAdams said. He noted the site also will provide information about staff appointments and employment opportunities.

After McAdams is sworn into office Jan. 7, the portal will remain open but will become part of Salt Lake County's website, http://www.slco.org.
