A judge has sentenced a registered sex offender to up to 15 years in prison for tying up a woman with rope and raping her two years ago.
Brady Ryth McIntire, 44, was sentenced earlier this month in 3rd District Court on one count of second-degree felony forcible sexual abuse.

Judge Katherine Bernards Goodman sentenced him to a term of one to 15 years in prison.
According to court documents, McIntire’s victim went to his South Salt Lake home on Dec. 4, 2010. McIntire became angry and told the woman he was "sick of being frustrated." Then he pushed the woman down and tried to tie her hands, charges state.
McIntire put a pillow over the woman’s face and raped her, according to court documents. Then he said he would "hang her" and rape her again, charges state.
At a hearing last year, the victim testified she faked a seizure, which scared McIntire into taking her to a hospital. There, the woman told medical staff what had happened to her.
McIntire was convicted of first-degree aggravated sexual assault in 1989 in 2nd District Court, court records show.
