A Provo man died Sunday morning when he swerved into the path of an oncoming semitrailer-tractor in Spanish Fork Canyon.
Utah Highway Patrol troopers said Kevin Arledge, 43, was eastbound about 8:05 a.m. on U.S. 6 when for an unknown reason he crossed over into the westbound lanes and collided with a semitrailer carrying a load of ATVs.

Arledge was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck was not injured.
Troopers said speed and impairment were not believed to be factors in the crash.
