Northern Utah will see high temperatures in the low- to mid-50s on Saturday with a chance for rain by nightfall and overnight lows around freezing. Southern Utahns can count on highs in the mid-60s under partly cloudy skies with overnight lows in the low-40s.
The Utah Air Quality Division’s predicts "Green," or healthy breathing conditions statewide this weekend.

The risk for dangerous snowslides in the region’s mountains has diminished, with Ogden, Salt Lake and the Uintas rated "moderate" and the rest of the state with low risk designations, according to the Utah Avalanche Center.
Salt Lake City looks for a high of 54 on Saturday, up 2 degrees from Friday’s forecast; Ogden expects 53 and 52, respectively; Provo 56 and 54; Logan 51 and 49; Wendover 49s; Duchesne 50s; Cedar City 55 and 57; St. George 64 and 66; and Moab 59 and 58 degrees.
