Police still do not know who killed a South Salt Lake woman on Nov. 4, but they have charged someone for obstructing their investigation.
Christopher G. Sutton, 36, was charged with obstruction of justice, a second-degree felony, on Thursday in 3rd District Court.
Police found Ann Marie Jensen, 43, dead at her apartment at 2389 S. 300 East, while responding to a 911 call concerning gunshots. An autopsy revealed she had been shot more than once in the upper body.
According to the charges, Sutton had texted Jensen earlier that morning, and later deleted those texts in order to separate himself from the murder investigation.
As far as who killed Jensen, police do not have any suspects or persons of interests and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call South Salt Lake police at 801-840-4000.
