Efforts to identify a woman found dead under leaves along a west Salt Lake City fence line continued Tuesday, police said.

Salt Lake City police detectives say the woman, whose body was spotted by an Arctic Circle restaurant employee Monday afternoon near 800 West and Emeril Avenue (30 North),

Police had three people in custody Monday night on suspicion of moving a woman's body after she died of a drug overdose.

An Arctic Circle employee discovered the woman's body Monday afternoon near a fence at 846 W. Emeril Ave. (30 North), partially covered with leaves that apparently had blown over her, said Salt Lake City police Lt. Craig Gleason.

Neighbors told police she had overdosed in a nearby house Sunday night and confessed they "dragged her outside and left her by the fence," Gleason said.

The three people were being interviewed late Monday and were expected to be arrested on suspicion of desecrating a body.
