Police had three people in custody Monday night on suspicion of moving a woman’s body after she died of a drug overdose.
An Arctic Circle employee discovered the woman’s body Monday afternoon near a fence at 846 W. Emeril Ave. (30 North), partially covered with leaves that apparently had blown over her, said Salt Lake City police Lt. Craig Gleason.
Neighbors told police she had overdosed in a nearby house Sunday night and confessed they "dragged her outside and left her by the fence," Gleason said.
The three people were being interviewed late Monday and were expected to be arrested on suspicion of desecrating a body.
