A woman died Sunday when her motorcycle crashed in Morgan County.

Natalie Quinlan, 40, of Morgan, was driving north on Trapper's Loop (State Road 66) near Snowbasin about 2:45 p.m. when she lost control of her motorcycle, said Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. John Ely.

Quinlan was thrown from the bike and struck a guardrail, Ely said. She suffered internal injuries and died at the scene, Ely said.

Quinlan was new to motorcycling and had bought the bike within the past few weeks, Ely said.

A man was riding alongside Quinlan on a separate motorcycle; he was not injured.
