One person was flown to the hospital Saturday morning from the scene of a five-vehicle crash on Interstate 15.
A southbound Ford F-150 crossed the median near St. George, and continued into the northbound lanes, according to the Utah Highway Patrol. A Chevy Silverado broad sided the F-150, and the female driver of the F-150 was ejected onto the roadway. The accident occurred near mile post 15 about 8:48 a.m.
A Honda Civic then hit the driver-less F-150. Two other vehicles were also involved in the crash.
The driver of the F-150 was flown to an area hospital. As many as six others were also taken to the hospital in ambulances. The extent of injuries was not immediately available.
UHP is still investigating the crash.
