Orem police on Friday asked for the public’s help in bringing a bank robber to justice.
Orem police St. Craig Martinez said the suspect walked into the Chase Bank branch at 1115 S. 800 East at 9:36 a.m. and handed a note to a teller threatening to explode a bomb unless he was given cash.

The teller complied and the suspect — described as a 5-foot-6 white man of medium build and wearing a black or dark gray hooded coat and black pants — fled on foot.
Anyone who may have seen the suspect, or have any other information about this crime is asked to call Orem police at 801-229-7070.
