West Bountiful Planning Commission • Has canceled its Tuesday, Oct. 23, meeting.

West Jordan City Council • Will discuss and possibly take action on final build-plan for Ron Wood Park; Wednesday, Oct. 24, 6 p.m., 3rd floor Council Chambers, City Hall, 8000 S. Redwood Rd., West Jordan. View the West Jordan agenda.

West Valley City Council • Will consider approval of proposed plans for the Esperanza Charter School; Tuesday, Oct. 23, 6:30 p.m., 3600 S. Constitution Blvd. (2700 West), West Valley City. View the West Valley City agenda.

Draper City Council • Will finalize an action item to allow the LDS church purchase land at the southwest corner of Manti Drive and Parowan Way for a future meeting house site. Sandy City Council • Will hold a public hearing on Dimple Dell Lane, Majestic Canyon Road, Alston, and Lone Springs annexation. Also, in order to fill Bryant Anderson’s position, who recently retired, the City Council will be appointing Dennis Tenney as the vice chairman of the Sandy City Council. They will also reassign Anderson’s citizen committee appointments. View the Sandy City agendas here.
