A two-alarm fire late Thursday morning heavily damaged a Magna home, but no injuries were reported.
Unified Fire Capt. Cliff Burningham said no one was inside the house at 2752 S. 9000 West when flames were reported at 10:18 a.m.

In addition to UFA crews, units of the Salt Lake City Fire Department assisted in extinguishing the flames.
Burningham said the cause of the fire was under investigation. A damage estimate was still being assessed.
The Utah chapter of the Red Cross was offering clothing and lodging assistance to the family.
