Four people were injured and a man was arrested on suspicion of driving drunk after his sport utility vehicle ran into two people outside their stalled SUV early Saturday in Midvale.
A westbound SUV carrying three people stalled on 7200 South near 500 West in Midvale about 3:30 a.m. The people got out of the SUV, which was on the side of the road. A second SUV exited Interstate 15, turned west on 7200 South and hit two of the people, said Unified Police Lt. Justin Hoyal.

One person was seriously hurt, and the other had minor injuries. The crash caused the second SUV to roll, Hoyal said. The 22-year-old driver suffered minor injuries, and his passenger received serious injuries.
Hoyal said the 22-year-old was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
