A man was in critical but improved condition Friday, the day after his pickup truck careened off a car and crashed into the back yard of a home in Herriman.
Unified Police Lt. Justin Hoyal said alcohol was believed a factor when the 41-year-old pickup driver clipped the rear end of a car stopped at 13772 South and 5600 West about 8:30 p.m. Thursday. The pickup then careened through a fence, into the back yard and then crashed into a second fence before coming to a stop.
