A 53-year-old woman is in extremely critical condition Thursday evening after she was hit by a vehicle while crossing a street in Murray.
The woman had just got off the bus at 4190 South State St. and was crossing west to east when a northbound car hit her about 8:37 p.m., said Unified Police Lt. Justin Hoyal.

She was taken to Intermountain Medical Center in extremely critical condition. The driver was not hurt, Hoyal said.
The woman was not using a crosswalk and that area of State Street is not well lit, he said.
