A woman died and a man was injured in a weekend OHV crash in Summit County.

Deena Loyola, spokeswoman for Utah State Parks and Recreation, said Monday that Alissa McCandless, 27, of Wanship, died about 6 p.m. Saturday after the four-wheel off-road vehicle she was a passenger on rolled. The driver, Vance Robinson, 30, of Coalville, was transported to University Hospital and was released Sunday.

McCandless and Robinson were riding on a dirt road just north of Camperville in Coalville at the time of the crash.

Investigators said there was alcohol at the scene, but they had not determined as of Monday whether it was a factor in the accident.

Neither McCandless nor Robinson was wearing a helmet or seat belt, investigators said.
