A multi-vehicle accident brought commuters to a crawl Monday morning on westbound Interstate 215 in central Salt Lake County.

The Utah Department of Transportation did not report any serious injuries in a series of crashes involving six cars about 7 a.m. near 2400 South.

The two left lanes were closed for about two hours as wreckage was cleared from the accident scene. remims@sltrib.com
