William Cullen Bryant would love this Utah forecast, one where the Wasatch Front’s forests begin to wear the crimson leaf, and suns grow meek, and the meek suns grow brief.
The National Weather Service predicted sunny, clear skies for Northern Utah Tuesday with high temperatures around 80 degrees, an encore of Monday’s forecast, with overnight lows in the mid-50s. In the southern half of the state, summer wanes with a warm farewell, bringing highs in the low- to mid-90s and night-time temperatures in the upper-50s to low-60s under clear skies.

Salt Lake City was pegged for a high of 82 on Tuesday, up a couple degrees from Monday’s forecast; Ogden expected 79 and 78 degrees, respectively; Provo 82 and 81; Logan 79 and 80; Wendover 82 and 79; Duchesne 76 and 72; Cedar City 83 and 82; St. George 94 degrees both days; and Moab 85 and 83.
