Utah’s weekend forecast would do William Wordsworth proud, truly one where a departing summer assumes an aspect tenderly illumed with the gentlest look of a long passed spring.
Unfaded, yet prepared to fade, the trees of northern Utah’s valleys prepare to transform from green to orange and gold; indeed, that is already underway in the colder, higher elevations along the Wasatch Front.

Northern Utahns look for a weekend of daytime temperatures in the upper-70s with overnight lows an autumnal range in the mid-60s under partially cloudy skies Saturday and clear horizons on Sunday.
Southern Utah’s forecast is nearly the same, with the exception of high temperatures in the low-90s and overnight lows around 60 degrees.
Air quality statewide for the weekend was graded "Green," or healthy, according to the Utah Division of Air Quality.
Salt Lake City looked for a high of 79 on Saturday, down a degree from Friday’s forecast; Ogden expected highs of 76 and 75, respectively; Provo 80 and 79; Logan 78 degrees both days; Wendover 80 and 78; Duchesne 74 and 72; Cedar City 80 and 78; St. George 92 and 91; and Moab 83 and 79 degrees.
