A Murray man was charged Thursday with lewdness after pulling down his pants while waiting for a train.

The 41-year-old man was charged in 3rd District Court with two counts of lewdness involving a child, a class-A misdemeanor, and two additional class-B misdemeanor lewdness counts.

On Sept. 7, the man was in his girlfriend's vehicle with three children near 187 W. 4800 South waiting for a train to pass. During the wait, the intoxicated man got out of the vehicle, started throwing things and pulled down his pants, according to the charges.

After he did, the woman could see the base of his penis, the charges state.
