Davis County Sheriff deputies rescued a young deer trapped in a manhole this week and posted this video on the department's Facebook page.

Sgt. Todd Taylor filmed the rescue as deputies Cory Cox and Steven Sanford used a climbing rope to lasso the animal and hoist it to safety. The most difficult part: loosening the lasso enough to set the critter free.
