Sandy police searching for man who exposed himself to child

Sandy police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man who allegedly exposed himself to a 7-year-old at a Walmart.

Police said the man, who was in a non-motorized wheelchair, was at the Walmart at 9151 S. Quarrybend Drive, on Aug. 23 when the incident occurred.

Police said a family member confronted the man after he allegedly exposed himself to the girl, but the man left the store before police or security could detain him.

The man has a heavy build, full beard and was wearing jean shorts.
