The fall happened shortly after 3 p.m. Saturday at 7599 S. Birch St. (50 West) at an apartment complex. Burningham said the fall likely was accidental. The screen in an apartment window was pushed out and the boy fell through the opening, he said. The boy was conscious when emergency responders arrived.
