Traffic is back to normal after two hours of congestion in the northbound lanes of Interstate 15 just south of Kaysville, according to the Utah Department of Transportation.
The department reported at about 4 p.m. that delays could last about two hours as football fans headed north to watch the game between Utah State and the University of Utah in Logan. UDOT suggested drivers take an alternate route Highway 89 to Interstate 84 then get back onto Interstate 15 at Riverdale.
By 6:30 p.m., drivers were moving at freeway speeds once again, according to UDOT.
