The Bureau of Land Management is asking for volunteers to help clean Big Rocks Special Recreation Management Area in Wayne County.

On Friday from 2 to 6:30 p.m. — National Public Lands Day — volunteers will help clean up materials from unauthorized dumping and target shooting, a BLM news release said.

The Richfield Field Office and the Wasatch Trails Association are hosting the cleanup with the support of Wayne County.

Big Rocks is about 5 miles east of Loa and is a unique area of basalt boulders and geological formations.
