Officials at the Juab County Sheriff's Office have confirmed that a plane crashed Thursday near Nephi.
The sheriff's office was not yet able to confirm the size of the plane or how many were on board. KUTV 2News reports that two people were killed in the crash.
The station reported that one man was from Utah and another was from outside the state. Officials told KUTV that weather could have been a factor in the crash, as there was a thunderstorm in the area at the time.
