Salt Lake City police are asking for the public’s help to identify a man who robbed a Salt Lake City Zions Bank on Monday.
Police said the Hispanic man entered the bank at 910 W. 2100 South, insinuated he had a gun and demanded money. The teller complied, and the man fled on foot.

Because of the proximity to the highway and a truck stop, police said the man may have either hitched a ride with someone or fled in a vehicle parked nearby.
The robber is 30 to 40 years old, about 5-foot-8 and about 150 pounds.
He has dark hair, shaved short and a dark-colored goatee. He was dressed in a long-sleeved shirt, black shorts and gym shoes. The robber has tattoos on the left side of his neck and right lower leg.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 801-799-3000. Tipsters may qualify for a reward.
