A group of young children apparently started a fire that burned three mobile homes Sunday in Tooele.
Two or three kindergarten-aged children were playing with matches about 1:30 p.m. at White’s Trailer Park, 1120 W. Utah Ave., said Tooele Police Lt. Adrian Day.

The matches set fire to a shed, and the blaze spread to neighboring mobile homes, Day said. Two homes were burned to the ground; a third lost an outer wall.
Red Cross teams were providing assistance to 11 people who were displaced.
One man suffered minor burns when he returned to a burning shed to retrieve something, Day said. He drove himself to a hospital.
