Davis County jail records show the 43-year-old man was being held without bail Wednesday on suspicion of robbery, theft and criminal trespass.

Acting on information developed by investigators, Layton officers found the suspect at the shelter late Monday night.

He had been sought since allegedly walking into the bank’s offices at 2050 N. Main St. in Layton last Friday afternoon and demanding money from a teller. Witnesses did not see a weapon.

The teller handed over an unspecified amount of cash and the robber fled on foot.
