Investigators believe the same vandals who damaged 42 vehicles at a South Jordan dealership this weekend also broke into 38 cars at an American Fork dealership.
Employees at the Ken Garff Ford dealership, 597 E. Auto Mall Drive (1000 South), discovered broken glass on the lot about 8 a.m. Sunday. Windows had been smashed out of 17 trucks, and the navigation systems had been removed, said American Fork police Sgt. Gregg Ludlow. Side and rear windows had been broken on 21 other vehicles, Ludlow said.

Police believe the culprits are the same people who caused $120,000 in damage the same night to cars at the Jerry Seiner dealership near 10500 S. Jordan Gateway in South Jordan.
"It’s the same M.O.," Ludlow said.
Investigators in American Fork have no information about the suspects, Ludlow said.
