A 13-year-old girl was injured Tuesday evening at Pineview Reservoir when she fell off a boat and was hit by a propeller.
The girl was letting out line for an inflatable tube behind the boat about 5:40 p.m., when she became tangled in the rope and was pulled into the water, said Weber County sheriff’s Sgt. Ryon Hadley.

The boat was idling with the propeller moving, Hadley said. The propeller struck the girl’s foot.
She was flown to Primary Children’s Medical Center. Her injuries were not considered life-threatening.
