Two people were killed and three others were in critical condition after a crash on State Route 201 late Saturday.
At about 10:15 p.m. near 11660 West, an SUV turning from State Route 202 to head east on the 201 was broadsided by a red Toyota, the Utah Highway Patrol said. The driver of the SUV and a passenger in the Toyota compact were killed.

Three medical helicopters were called out to transport the injured, identified as a male and two females.
The Highway Patrol said the road would be closed in both directions until about 4 a.m.
