Distracted driving may be what caused a rollover that sent three people, one in critical condition, including a child to the hospital Friday night after wreck in Tooele County.
The a single vehicle accident happened at about 8:40 p.m., on State Road 36 about 12 miles north of Vernon, according to Utah Highway Patrol spokesman Cameron Roden.

An adult female driver driving a truck with two passengers — an adult woman and a 9-year-old girl — went off the right side of the road, overcorrected to the left and then went back to the right and rolled.
Three helicopters flew the patients to various hospitals for their injuries.
The driver was taken to Utah Valley Medical Center in critical condition, the 9-year-old was taken to Primary Children’s Medical Center in serious condition and the other female passenger was taken to Utah Valley Medical Center in fair condition The cause of the accident is still under investigation. Roden said investigators say distracted driving from possibly looking at a cell phone, or alcohol may be factors in the cause of the accident.
